The fiery chutneys are great, they go particularly well with bacon sandwiches.

First class chutney nice kick to it bit extra mature cheddar. Thin sliced onion. Perfect way to enjoy chutney

It started in Grandad Charlie's kitchen

Calder's began in the 1950s, when Grandad Charlie started making pickles in his kitchen for family and neighbours, a milkman from South Shields with a serious knack for flavour.

We still follow the same spirit today: bold flavours, small batches and proper ingredients. Every jar is made in his memory, just as he made it.
