This delicious, vegan recipe was created by our founder Andrew's mum (and daughter of Grandad Charlie).
It can be made as an easy midweek meal or a side dish alongside your favourite home made curry.
We love it be cause it's so simple and super quick to make, it's healthy, light while the Sillylilli gives the dish an enjoyable chilli kick.
If you haven't discovered the wonders of roasted cauliflower yet, there's no finer introduction than Calder's Kitchen's Roasted Cauli & Sillylilli Pilau!

Delicious, easy midweek meal in its own right or a tasty side dish for curry night!
Using only three main ingredients plus seasoning for the caulilower, this dish couldn't be easier to make.
A great introduction to the delights of roasted cauliflower.
All you need is a packet of microwave pilau rice, a medium cauli and a jar of Calder's Kitchen Sillylilli
Roast the cauliflower, heat the rice, ad the Sillylilli and mix it all together. Simple!
1 medium sized cauliflower
1 jar of Calder’s Kitchen Sillylilli
1 packet of pre-cooked Pilau rice
25g Sultanas (just cover with boiling water for 5-10 mins to soften)
1 heaped tsp paprika
Fresh coriander to garnish
Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees or gas mark 6
Chop cauliflower into smallish florets and place on a baking tray
Drizzle olive oil over cauliflower, sprinkle with paprika, ground salt & pepper
Heat in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until cauliflower begins to brown and is cooked, but still crunchy
Cook rice according to guidelines on packet (usually 2 mins in microwave)
Add cauliflower and rice to a large saucepan then stir in 2-3 heaped desert spoons of Calder’s Kitchen Sillylilli according to taste
Add sultanas and the water covering them and warm on a low heat
Serve into bowls or a Balti dish and garnish with fresh coriander, and add a dollop of your favourite mango chutney
